The difference between moth & a butterfly...

1. Most butterflies hold their wings over the back while resting. A moth generally spreads its wings or curls it while resting.
2. Butterfly's antennae are long with knobs at the top. A moths antennae lack knobs and are usually shorter and fuzzy.
3. Butterflies fly mostly in the day time. Moths fly only during the night.
