PEACE AND LOVE

Have any before shown you courage
And offered these words of awe
For to have marveled at your grace
Which has roused my senses all.

Your dance is so divine
A form of art, so lithe
Your movement is a melody
With motion cast in light.

These eyes of yours enthrall
The softness of their brown
Shines brighter than the starlight
That glitters 'neath your brow.

Your smile, it does consume one
Who's made aware, it's true
That yours are lips delightful
They bring thoughts back to you.

For this is but a simple poem
Yet it lends me chance to say
Just what I've mused to fill these days
While you had gone away.
