Life just started. This girl named Khushbu (i.e.
‘me’) is now out of her mother’s womb. She is in this world, which is still
a stranger to her. People, who waited ardently nine long months for her, are
going through an overwhelming joy. Everyone is gazing at her as if she were
not a child but a precious gem. She feels so bizarre. Life here is so
different than that prenatal environment. She feels a little scared when
those strangers cuddle with her.
She is so beautiful, so ravishing that her mother just got transfixed when
she had that little creation of god right there in her arms. She had cherry
red blush on her chubby cheeks; her eyes were like deep seas and her
strawberry lips added to her angelic look. What could be a better ecstasy
for a mother than the mere sight of her little newborn? Her father was also
very happy. He danced with joy and pleasure. He played with her. Her big
brother could just not believe his eyes. Evidently, a two year old will be
so besieged to see his small sister right in front of him. He just cherished
that moment.
All the friends and relatives were present at that memorable moment, holding
their breath waiting to take her into their hands. Everyone talked to her,
played with her and soothed her. But she simply looked at them and did
sometimes smile at those she liked and cried being with those she didn’t.
The whole scene was so theatrical.
She did not know what life will bring for her and nor did she care. She was
busy enough trying to comprehend everything. She merely had to digest
everything she saw. She could not argue over anything or yell at anyone.
Khushbu started growing up. From days to weeks to months passed with fun and
excitement. She was like a benediction to all those near and dear ones. From
her mother, father, brother, uncle, aunt to granny and grandpa everyone
loved her, adored this roguish little baby. Life seemed wonderful and
astounding for this miniature individual.
Then were her learning days. Her mother taught her to talk and her father
taught her to walk. Her granny wanted her to dance and grandpa wanted her to
read. Everybody had a lot of expectations from her. She indeed tried her
best to fulfill all those desires. Time was passing by and she was growing
every minute, every second from the mind to the body and to the soul.
Life was going on and she was walking following the footsteps of god. She
was not certain of what she was doing or where she is about to go. Her life,
in this new environment, is just a start, a beginning. There is yet a lot
more to see and to comprehend and to do…
This is how life starts for most of us. The beginning is often akin but the
end of each and everyone differs. Why? Just because you make it or you break
it. I have determined to make it through and through, what about you???
